So yea today was pretty shitty

Since last week i’ve been volunteering at a daycare to get the hours i need so i can get my cda online courses payed for. Unfortunately the employes there weren’t welcoming at all and none of them even introduced themselves to me. The kids were great but everything else was shit basically. Even so.. i was planning to get all my hours so i had to stay

Today i was told i could no longer volunteer there because of a misunderstanding. Apparently volunteers aren’t allowed, only people who are observing the classrooms for their cda or college classes. Plus the employes there were complaining about me behind my back and wanted me gone. It all made sense to me after that, i mean… all last week nobody was welcoming and i only got glares from the workers so..

The people that work there are supposed to be role models for these kids.. i feel so bad for the children there. All the employes ever did was complain about their jobs and gossip about other workers in front of the kids they were taking care of. They might not think the kids are listening but are you fucking for real? You are teaching these kids terrible habits and indirectly teaching them to be assholes.

1st Day

I just got back from my first day volunteering at the daycare center in town and i had mixed feelings about it.. mainly because of the teachers. The kids were great but everyone that worked there just complained the entire time and was talking about how terrible some of the kids are right in front of them. Idk man that doesn’t seem ok? There was one particular kid that was really a handful so i understood with him but mehh it just seemed like the teachers all hated being there.

Because of that i’ll be volunteering at the daycare i was at today for only a month and a half and going to another daycare to finish the rest of my hours there.. ((so i don’t end up strangling the teachers i was with today))

Haircut~

I decided to give myself a haircut... on impulse (like usual). I ended up liking it a lot thou, thank god lol.

I Voted!!!

It was my first time voting and i was super excited to do it this year- especially since i was voting for obama~ After voting my family got a few groceries and then goofed off in the christmas aisle in walmart.

Volunteer Work

Still no luck in finding a job yet...which is why i'll be doing volunteer work instead for the meantime. In order for my online courses to get paid for me rather than my mom and dad paying for them i need to get a certain amount of hours done in volunteer work. I also need to get a TB test done in order to start the volunteer work at the daycare. Hopefully this week or next i'll be starting!

Late Halloween post

Halloween was a lot of fun this year~ I actually attempted to dress up? i just made my face all bloody and wore my regular clothes but still. Everyone in the family dressed up this year though- which was different ha. My dad and i seemed to freak the kids out the most while passing out candy lol.
